Dead Rising 4 - Pre-Order Bonuses

The latest instalment of the fantastically awesome Dead Rising franchise, Dead Rising 4 will be released on Dec 6th, 2016.

Console wise, Dead Rising 4 is an Xbox exclusive title and the original Dead Rising 3 was the reason I bought my Xbox One in the first place.

I'm a big fan of the Zombie genre and the Dead Rising series is a real blast to play.  The weapons are insanely over the top and the game is a great mix of fun, humor and of course bloody zombie guts.

What I also liked about 3, is that it was just the right level of difficulty.  It was a challenge, but nothing you can't overcome with a few attempts.

If you pre-order Dead Rising 4, there are currently 4 different pre-order bonuses, depending on where you make your purchase.

Best Buy is providing a code that gives you the Candy Cane Crossbow DLC, to blast Zombies with the sweet goodness of candy canes.

GameStop will be providing the Steampunk Snowman Head DLC, that shoots snowballs and freezes enemy Zombies.

Microsoft will provide the X-Fists DLC content, which will require you to be equipped in an Exo suit, which provides a temporary boost.

Amazon will provide the Zombie Slice Cycle DLC.  With this destructo-cycle, you can slice and dice your way through hordes of Zombies on the street with great power and speed.

The added bonus for Amazon Prime customers is that if you pre-order Dead Rising 4, you'll not only get the Slice Cycle, but you'll also get 20% off.

The game will be $59.96 at launch, but if you pre-order as an Amazon Prime customer, you would get it for only $47.99.

If you are not yet an Amazon Prime member, you can sign up for a free 30 Day Trial to get this special price.  That is a great offer and you can get your Xmas shopping done with free 2 day shipping on everything as well.

I've already pre-ordered via Amazon and can't wait!  ZOMBIES!

Recommended WordPress Resources

WordPress is one of the best platforms out there for creating a blog or website.

It is used by millions of folks and has a thriving community for support, thousands of great looking themes, the best plugins to do just about anything you can think of, etc.

If you are brand new and need some pointers on how to get started, be sure to check out my How To Start a Blog post, for step-by-step instructions. You can be up and running in less than 10 minutes.

One of the most common questions that I get is "I've installed WordPress, now what do I do?"...

If you already have a website, but aren't quite sure what to do next, check out my post entitled Top 10 Things Everyone Should Do After Installing WordPress.

After you have your website up and running, you'll eventually want to figure out how to monetize.

One of the best ways to get started is to incorporate reviews or links to products that are related to your particular topic, or niche. The Amazon affiliate program is one of the most popular places to start, since it has the huge brand recognition and trust factor.

My choice for WordPress Amazon Affiliate plugins is EasyAzon.

It makes inserting Amazon affiliate links quick and easy and the plugin allows you to bring in additional affiliate income by providing your customers country specific affiliate links automatically (link localization), in addition to providing you with the ability to get commissions for a full 90 days, utilizing the Add-To-Cart feature.

EasyAzon is only $29 and I did a full write up of EasyAzon here: Best Plugin For Amazon Niche Sites.

I also get questions about what I recommend as far as where to host your website, best themes that I recommend and things like that. You can find the full list of my recommended resources here.

I will also include a few links to the most popular resources here below...

Recommended Website Hosting - Web Hosting Hub is the company that I utilize and recommend for hosting. That is where this site and all of my main sites have been hosted all along. I have been a very happy customer for the last 5+ years.

Through my discount link, you can get hosting for only $3.99/mo for your entire initial sign-up duration.

You can check out Web Hosting Hub Reviews from other folks in the community as well.

Recommended Themes - A modern, mobile responsive theme is so important, to help your website look professional and keep people coming back for more.

The primary theme companies that I have utilized and recommend are Elegant Themes, Theme Forest and Thrive Themes.

Recommended Amazon Training Courses - The two best training courses for selling on Amazon are the Proven Amazon Course and Amazon Boot Camp.  You can out my full review of the best Amazon training courses here.

Recommended WordPress Plugins - Like I mentioned above, one of the great benefits of WordPress is the thousands of different plugins that you can install to help you with a particular need.

I will include links to some of my favorite plugins that I utilize for specific purposes, on all of my niche websites.

For creating an email list, my favorite plugin is Thrive Leads.  The plugin allows you to create awesome looking email opt-in forms on your website anywhere you'd like, including the very popular exit intent option, to grab a subscriber just as they're about to leave your website.

For creating professional looking landing pages, my favorite plugin is Thrive Landing Pages.

Updraft Plus – Backup/Restore: A great plugin for backing up and restoring your WP site.  In addition to storing your backups on your hosting account, you also have the option to upload the backups to several cloud based storage locations, such as DropBox.

If you have questions on what tools or plugins that I recommend for a particular purpose that aren't covered above, don't hesitate to reach out at any time.

I wish you the best with all of your online adventures and above all else, be sure to take some action towards those goals and dreams to make them a reality!

Daylight Savings Weekend 2016

My absolute favorite time of year is when we switch over to Daylight Savings.

Love me some extra Vitamin D time!

I hope you share in my excitement and hope you have a great Daylight Savings weekend!

In addition to setting those clocks ahead when you go to bed Saturday night and changing your smoke detector batteries, I like to recommend that you backup your computers and smartphones this weekend as well.

Enjoy!

Fort Clinch State Park

I just realized the last update on the site is July.  Whew, been a while.  No real reason, but the important part is returning right?!  What is everyone up to?

I was looking at some pictures on my PC and realized I haven't taken any off my phone since my last post here, so maybe that is part of the reason for the hiatus.

I'm copying the over 2,000+ pictures since July over to my PC and the first ones are from our quick trip up to Fort Clinch State Park, a really cool place to check out.

It was fun to explore the old fort and explore the area on our own.  Here a couple of pics from that day.  It is a pretty big park, that also has a mile long pier (well 1/2 mile each way), that we went to the end of as well.  Definitely worth a visit if you're in the North East Florida area.
