Just as the subject line says, unfortunately the iPhone 5 will not do voice and data at the same time, so you cannot be on a call and switch over to look up something online.
I thought this was a given with anything on 4G/LTE, but apparently that is not the case. I just wanted to let anyone know about that in case they were not aware, like I was not.
Here are the technical details in case you are interested.
I love Verizon's network, customer service and everything else, but had I known about that I may have considered switching over to AT&T.
Fortunately, that is not something I've ever had the ability to do before, so I won't miss it, but it was something I was looking forward to having the ability to do.

well be glad you've never been able to do it, because I'd never able to do with out, I speaker phone most my calls and surf the net, I'm a multi-taker, James on the other hand- I can tell when he's on internet because he stops talking :)
